Flowers are fragrant. Some people call it Penny Royal
Blooms in fall

Lamiaceae (Mint) Family A related species, T. Canadensis, has yellow flowers.

Hmmm... such hairy soft branches are typical mint family.
Yes... you got it... Earlier I thout of Lamiaceae... but here I do not see its herb flowers on top... so confused... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Trichostema_dichotomum_8725.jpg
Also check in Acanthaceae family...
Might be one from Balsaminaceae family as per flower and plant structure. Like Impatiens genus herb.... may be different.
