Field Notes

Description:

The blur is because it was at night with no flash. They had a yellow pebble colored belly, grey upper bodies and brown with white specks on their leaves. The big one had a very black chin, white stripes on its head and a feather that stuck up like a cow-lick. There were about 10 of them and then this one that looked different. They cooed like pigeons, but I've never seen any like this.

Habitat:

This was inside the "rain forest" area in the Fuqua Conservatory. This was a night visit to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Atlanta, GA.

Notes:

Perfect ID suggestion. Thank you!!!
