Field Notes

Description:

To my surprise, wikipedia says these pretty purple-blue flowers are native to southeastern Europe, Turkey, Lebanon, and Syria, these anemone blanda are growing beautifully within our ivy up the front walk garden. They pop in early spring and add a lovely color to the green.

Habitat:

Native to southeastern Europe, Turkey, Lebanon, but these are thriving right here in east-central NJ! ;-)
