Description:

a little guy about a centimeter long.

Habitat:

fields, edges of forests

Notes:

a major agricultural pest insect. In the adult form it eats and damages leaves of many crops, including cucumbers, soybeans, cotton, beans and many others. I found this guy about a hundred yards from a field of corn
