Description:
Red on black pattern leads me to believe it could be either a milkshake, or tropical king snake. Although, in Costa Rica, you can't judge if they're venomous solely off of the color pattern.
This one was most likely hit by a vehicle as it was crossing the road.
Habitat:
Dry tropical rainforests. This one was located within Palo Verde National Park in Costa Rica.
