Button Mushroom

hi, yes i was taking a wild guess. i only relativ sure , it should be a agaricus, but wich species is difficult to say. try to get some information about: bisporus. from the internet and go determinate it in your backyard (if it was yours?) but the ring and the brown (when i see it right) gills, let me think of agaricus, and the cap has similarities with the picture from my book (always : "my books" --> but i really like/love my little mushroom gids) it has help me very much, here in dutch/germany (i live almost at the boarder-both land are available for me as i like). BUT when you are sure, it could be a A. bisporus- i'm glad to be helpfull. groetjes (nl) alex

WHEN it is an agaricus bisporus, then he schould already be matured. because of the brown gills. young -- white, creme juvenile- rose matured--- brown ---> therefore if it is ( say) agaricus, schould he not stand much longer.
