That's a flathead catfish. Look at the caudal fin- its not forked at all, an indicative sign of a flathead
Thanks for the confirmation IanLine, I'm going to go with channel catfish. The Michigan DNR lists them as being in the lake. I have quite a few spottings with dead animals or animal remains and haven't had any problems on PN.
Yeah a dead catfish... I'm surprised the mods haven't asked you to take this down... They harass me to take down pictures of dead animals. I say they can screw off. Spotting them dead is just as important as alive when it comes to data collection.
