Field Notes

Description:

6-7 mm long beetle with clear membranes extending over the elytra and the thorax.

Habitat:

Found floating in a nectar like substance in pine rockland.

Notes:

The membrane completely threw me. I've only ever seem it on tortoise beetles which it is clearly not.
