Description:

Probably the prettiest of what are considered pest beetles here in Kansas. A brilliant metallic green, this one was near my garden, so I'm a tad worried there's larva in the soil of my ornamental plants, munching on their roots. That's nature for you though.

Habitat:

Found through North America.
