Field Notes

Description:

It looked like a false widow spider. It was in an orb web. It had a black "hourglass". It's body without legs was about an inch.

Habitat:

Pinion pine and juniper woodland area with a lot of sagebrush. It was found above 6000ft, in the middle of a trail.
