Field Notes

Description:

The Gram Blue has tiny tails on the hind wing. On the upper side, males have two black spots by each tail and females have a sub terminal arc of black spots by each tail.The upper side of the male is purple and in the female it is dark brown.

The underside of both sexes have arcs of brown dots on the wings.

Habitat:

Throughout India except at very high elevations.
