Description:

Brown long segmented insect with a pincer on the end and light dots or short stripes on legs. This insect was very active and wouldn't stop crawling around :)

Habitat:

On a vine near the ground on the back porch

Notes:

aka Pincer bug. BugGuide is unable to determine the species as it seems to have various traits from a couple species. It may be a species from Mexico that they don't have literature for (US only site). They did say this is a male. Details on the provided site.
