Description:

A Blue Dasher dragonfly (male), a member of the skimmer family of dragonflies. Similar in appearance to the Eastern Pondhawk and Great Blue Skimmer, the Blue Dasher can be recognized by its green eyes, white face, brown and yellow striped thorax, and black-tipped blue abdomen.

Habitat:
