Description:

This is a ladybug sitting right next to what looks like another bug but I think might be some kind of egg casing or shed chrysalis. Not even sure if that's what you call it.

Habitat:

Found in my vegetable garden near the desert. On the zucchini plant to be exact.

It is a Convergent Lady bug next to a pupa--not sure if the ladybug emerged from it. Do you have a photo os the other side?
