Description:

Was licking the salt off of my fingers. Kept returning when shoo-ed away. ID suggestions welcome - I'm still learning my eastern US apifauna.

Habitat:

Young woodlot area (with black raspberry understory) next to community garden.

Nice photo! I find them hard to get in focus, possibly because they're so metallic.
looks like an Augoclorella (but is just a guess)
