Description:

5ft Black snake with a red belly

Habitat:

All over Australia

Notes:

we was sitting there on the banks of the Snowy River 80km from Jindabyne in the middle if the Snowy wilderness ( Kosciuszko National Park) just simply enjoying a cuppa tea, when this big Red Belly decided to swim past and get out just 20ft from us

yes it is poisonous, but with small weak fangs they do not deliver as much poison as say a Brown Snake .........requires hospital visit and anti venom
