Hopefully suggestive for the Mission "Spiders of India".. http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8065974
The prey is a honeybee (Apis sp.), and the plant is some sort of milkweed (Asclepias sp.). It's apparent to me that I need to work on learning my spiders, since I can only say it's a crab spider (family Thomisidae).
impressive and dramatic! Congratulations
Cool. A type of crab spider. I can't tell if that's a bee or a bee-mimic hoverfly it has caught.
