Field Notes

Description:

Large multicoloured fungus. Stem about 3" long and 1" thick.

Habitat:

Pacific temperate rain forest understory of sword fern, vanilla leaf, red huckleberry, and oregon grape. Growing on the north side of the ridge.

Notes:

Growing beside the trail from Mission Heritage Park to Westminster Abbey.
