Hi EarlyStages. Thanks for the correction. Will update ID :-)
The larvae of Ideopsis vulgaris and I. juventa are essentially identical, but since I. vulgaris is not known to occur on Luzon (Batangas), this can only be a midsize caterpillar of I. juventa. Please see Nachr. Entomol. Ver. Apollo, Supplement 14 (1995): "Contributions to the knowledge of the Lepidoptera of the Philippines II", page 62, and "The Life Histories of Asian Butterflies" Vol. 2 by Igarashi and Fukuda, 2000, plate 109.
Oh it is @Dave-a-roni. Glad you like it :-)
Glad to have posted it @auntnance. Thanks again for the help and interest :-)
Glad you posted this beauty, It was a good search.
Wow. I wake up and you guys have an ID. Thanks so much Ashish and Auntnance. Love the learnings here in Project Noah :-)
Pretty much how I got there. Keep the lessons coming though.
My clue was Common crow which had same body structure in caterpillar stage like this one.. and earlier feel its King Crow... and in that direction I get correct ID...!!
Nance.... if you understand the the type(what is depend on body structure) and family name...then its easy to find...!! All we keep in mind while checking ID... what I learned here on Project Noah...
Oh for goodness sake, Ashish you're always a step ahead. Just found this link: http://www.butterflycircle.com/checklist%20V2/CI/index.php/start-page/startpage/showbutterfly/54 Nice work. Thanks for the spotting, Eric.

What an interesting little animal!
Yes it does @Longmustache. Hope that can be a clue to its ID :-)
