Description:

Pale yellow flowers, with five heart-shaped petals. Leaves were compound and divided into toothed leaflets.

Habitat:

Growing on the side of a river and next to a meadow.

Notes:

Cinquefoil has many potential medicinal uses, including using an infusion made from the root as an astringent, antiseptic, and tonic.
