Description:

Warbler type bird in my back yard in Chattanooga, TN. The last picture is of I am guessing her mate, but extremely camera shy so that was the best picture I could get. He had very distinctive yellow markings on this shoulders and tail.

Habitat:

My backyard :)

Thank you Sarah, Myrtle, Audubons and the Yellow-rumped Warbler are as well under going evolution before our eyes...though genetic deferences play a part here more so than hybridizing - i think that the mentioned Warblers may have evolved via the same route. Thankfully i only have to deal with the Yellow-rumped/Butterbutt... decifering who's who in areas where they mix would be a fun headache .

The 3rd photo is a female American Redstart. Didn't see that at first.

ooo that does look like her. but the 3rd picture does not look like a male magnolia warbler because he has yellow spots on tail and shoulder and a white belly?
