Field Notes

Description:

A small to medium size spider with incredibly large chelicerae encasing long recurved spurs.

Habitat:

On eucalyptus stems in a local nature reserve.

Notes:

Not certain what is happening here. One spider is white, both seem the same species. Could this be a mating with lunch in mind? <br> https://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:biodiversity.org.au:afd.taxon:9…
