Field Notes

Description:

Yellow flowering biennial plant. Belongs to the goats beard genus. Is roughly 3-5 decimeters in height.

Habitat:

Wind swept hill side. Close to a rocky over hang which helps aid in protection.

Notes:

Blooming late in October. Often confused with the milkweed family. Lower SE Idaho.
