Description:

Conspicuous eye-spots on hindwing underside, broad white patch around the large eye-spot on upper forewing.
Unfortunately I could not get a shot of her with her wings open.

Habitat:

Is a neotropical nymphalid butterfly found from Florida and the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, to tropical and subtropical South America.
