yes Jemma, it was. We got along really well, connected by our great love of nature and looking for and photographing all those tiny creatures.
what a lovely place! looks fairytale like. Must have been deliteful to meet a fellow spotter.
Hehehe Jemma! No guns, no horses and the property is not huge, just beautifully gardened, with wild bits around the edges. It's on a cliff overlooking national reserve that stretches all the way down to the sea. On a clear day one can see Puntarenas on the coast. It's gorgeous, a beautiful newly made open plan natural wood house with raw beams. And being in Costa Rica, the bugs are plentiful and of all colours, shapes and designs. I had a fabulous stay there. Check out her spottings from the garden here: http://www.projectnoah.org/users/Gilma%20Jeannette%20Ospino%20Ferreira-Norman Added a view from the front of the house for your enjoyment.
Awesome! Does Gilma protect her huge property with Gun/ Guns? Did you go horse back riding with her? Is she a great cook? etc etc . Fill us in.
