chief,i tried to find some info too and did not see much. maybe you can go to the local library and see if you can find it in books. Considering the fact it is so rare,you were lucky to see four at a time! I will see if I can find more info.

Chief, these are moths! I think Geometridae, probably Ennominae or Sterrhinae.
