Description:

This wren has barred tail feathers, heavily streaked, black-and-white back, whitish eyebrow, brown cap, long bill, and dull white or buff underparts. This bird is known to sing loudly through both day and night. The Marsh Wren nests in tall vegetation over relatively deep water.

Habitat:

Fresh water and saltwater marshes. These birds love cattails.
