Nice find! I found some fungus similair to yours, although they always occured alone and I couldn't tell if they were growing on a mushroom or not. What do you think? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7230738

thats a nice shot with very nice specimen. most of them i found looked like c... . but i had not found the brown ones, mine was always white!! asterophora lycoperdoides--> isn't it renamed to Nyctalis asterophora ???
