~5" tall, white, 1.5" radius.

Notes:

Recent monsoon season seems to have allowed growth. This patch of soil is normally bare.

Hahaha the first time I saw these I was around 5 years old, and they were underneath a car in our yard. Slowly inching my way towards this foot-tall white object that wasn't there the night before, I gave it a quick tap. The head fell, and when it hit the floor, it looked like it was "breathing" an awful brown gas, and I ended up running into my house proclaiming that there were aliens under our car. Ever since then, I can't forget what I saw, and now here they are again. Everywhere. But at least we know what they are now huh?

I know! I found three more near this one but had no clue what it was.

Oh man, these are everywhere in Tucson right now! Too bad they might be the only species here.
