Field Notes

Description:

Small brown butterfly with iridescent blue body that spreads onto its wings. Has a pair of teardrop like lobes on the extreme bottom edge of each wing

Habitat:

Dwells in gardens and anywhere there are lots of flowers its partial to bougainvillea flowers. As a very flighty butterfly the best chance at a shot of it is when it takes long sips on a bougainvillea.
