Description:

Male Silk Bowerbird is black with blue eyes and in the light its feathers have a blue metallic sheen. Males use sticks to build the bowers and decorate them with shiny coloured objects to attract females. This particular one seems to have a preference for blue.

Habitat:

Endemic to Australia
