It seems you deleted your reply to me, Orionmystery, but yes, I do consider that lambasting. Especially on a site that has people from so many different cultures, where it's better to err on the side of the polite. Also, few people here are aware of how fraught taxonomy is, and how uncertain identification can be, especially from images alone. Hopefully, here is a place for them to learn.
Orionmystery, while it's fine to comment on (in)appropriate animal handling, it's not OK to lambast someone for getting things wrong. Project NOAH is a citizen science site. It relies on average people, few of them "experts", being willing to take part in identifying organisms from all over the world. Therefore, many ID's will be wrong, but hopefully they'll lead us further in the right direction. If you would like to suggest a better ID, with a comment/link as to why you think it is better, please do so. But wrong ID's are a part of this site, and if you find that distressing, maybe you need to rethink your participation.
I think you are right, dear @orionmystery, and you should suggest the correct ID :)
