Field Notes

Description:

Classified as Vulnerable and another MINDANAO ISLAND ENDEMIC species of amphibian. a small- to medium-sized frog with snout to vent length of 14-28mm only. Noted for its pointed snout

Habitat:

Species was collected at the highest peak elevation of Mt. Arakan, mossy forest.

Notes:

in one of the pictures, there was a comparison of the frog with the head of a 2x2 nail to show how small it was. We got this during our sampling research at the peak of Mt. Arakan.
