No, I don't have another view. Thanks for the suggestion. The body made me think dragonfly but the legs weren't right and then I thought maybe it had caught an insect and I was confused. Appreciate your help!

Maria, do you have any other views? This looks like a Tiger Crane Fly (Genus Nephrotoma). Markings and coloration can help to differentiate species. http://bugguide.net/node/view/12486/bgpage I believe yours is a male.
