Pretty green spider in the rain

Notes:

The green lynx spider very seldom bites humans, It is primarily of interest for its use in agricultural pest management, for example in cotton fields. The spiders have been observed to hunt several moth species and their larvae, including some of the most important crop pests, such as the bollworm moth, the cotton leafworm moth and the cabbage looper moth (Trichoplusia ni)

Yes I saw the photo, its a big egg sac!!
Pretty! There are a few of these in the meadow behind our land - the females spend all their time guarding their egg sacs which are usually twice the size they are!

Wow, Emma, I did not know that, but I think I heard years ago they were piping in water underground from North California. I think its pretty out in the desert from looking at your photos!
we do not get rains till Jan- Feb. Only for 6 weeks or so. That is why there is an underground watering system to maintain the city trees. In spite of the lack of rainfall,we have a lot of greenery,
