Field Notes

Description:

Body about 1.5" long, body with a marbled pattern in tan and dark brown. Spins a perfect orbweaver web, new one every day. Spends part of the day in the web's center, then hangs out in a crevice in the wall the rest of the time.

Habitat:

Backyard, urban

Notes:

This big girl has been hanging out at our back door for a while now. She also has two of her offspring who have been setting up webs nearby.
