Double congratulations for being run as a spotting of the day for 4 days in a row, lovely.
@ZoeJade - thanks a lot! I do love bees too. I have 2 more bees in my spottings, maybe u can check them out too. A blue banded bee and a honey bee.. :) Thanks a lot guys! cheers! :)
-LOVE- it. Me and my mom have had a long love for bees, especially the fuzzy kind. She literally squee'd when she saw this. I've never seen a bright bee before, it's truly new and wonderful to me. Also, amazing macro.
I spotted this guys in Hortpark. I also go to Botanic Garden. If u see someone with a tripod and a DIY diffuser infront of his camera, that would probably me. cheers! :)
Yeah I can imagine. Where do you head out to shoot these guys? Congratulations by the way for spotting of the day, well deserved :)
@ seanweekly - i don't see them regularly, u just to be patience and persistent for u to see these beautiful insects. Sometimes i just see them flying in front of me and gone so fast. I just keep coming back to the place where I saw them and try my luck. There's lots of times that I don't have a single shot after a whole day of shoot, believe me.. ;-)
Thanks all for your kind words! Cheers! :)
Nice shot man, we should meet and you can show me all these things that I cannot seem to find in Singapore :(
Wow...what an interesting insect and an awesome picture.
thanks a lot guys!!! cheers! :)
Congrats on an awesome spotting. All I can say is wow! I wish we had them here. I love bees.
what marvellous color, what a beauty! Thnx!
I dont normally like bee's, being allergic and the pain of a sting may have something to do with it, but these bee's are truly beautiful in color! :)
Spotting of the Day! "Neon cuckoo bees are stunningly beautiful, with glittering metallic blue spots. They are called cuckoo bees because they lay their eggs in the burrows of other bees.
