Field Notes

Description:

very tiny mushroom.smooth white cap 2-4 mm , half circle with dentet grooves. gills are far apart, ending at the stem. 6-9 partitions. no discoloration at the white gills- therefore juvenile (no ready spores) or white spores. stem very long in proportion to the cap. Above white , downwards going brownish. With little hairs.

Habitat:

Were popping up between the moss, but were standing on leaves

Notes:

It was very tiny, could not really good see anything. On basic of what i saw, and found in books and the internet, i suspect this is a Marasmius, (probably) epiphyllus (maybe) var. plantaginis. At first i searched for Mycenas, but the most are to big and have more gills as for this spotting. Then the second idea was going to marasmius: this had some mushrooms from this scale and features. Also was hygrocybe an idea, but also to big. Therefore, i decided to set it to marasmius. I will gladly hear some suggestion !! because i'm not really sure
