Interesting Harsha. It appears that yes they are carnivorous. The one we found was Michigan USA. Where was yours?
Hey! I have taken care of one for a few weeks, when I was a kid. (It was released in a jungle later.) It was found on the road and apparently had been run over by a car. It was very pretty. Used to dig out soil and go to sleep in the pit, stayed there till taken out. We tried feeding it with lettuce, but it would not eat. Then we left it in a tub with earthworms and he really enjoyed eating them. Are they carnivorous?
He's cute! That shell is beautiful, it makes me think of a sting ray, even the shape! What a wonderful creature :)
