¡Es intrigante! He visto algunas en Santiago :D
It's not a spider, it's a Harvestmen. A different order of animal in the same class with the spiders - Arachnids. The closest species name I could tell is Vonones ornata.
I think you're right! http://www.insectos.cl/gallery/displayimage.php?album=14&pos=91
That's the same family as harvestmen, The pic on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opiliones and the link posted has more body than one of the harvestmen(which are about 1/4 the size indicated too)
I think I got it! Opilionidae- Crab spider/ Araña Cangrejo/ False spider http://www.flickr.com/photos/52414112@N03/4832352369/in/photostream
They are really, reallly cool, and they are a plague in the town where I used to live. I wish I could know the real name. I call them robot spider! :P and they smell really bad!. They must be like 2 or 3 cm long.
I agree, texless! Really cool looking!
How big is it? Whatever it is, it's cool looking!
Not sure what it is, but it does have 8 legs :s
