Field Notes

Notes:

It's amazing how these turtles swim in the rough surf off Oahu's north shore and come up on the beach to rest and regulate their body temperature. I'm glad that there are volunteers at this beach to keep people from harassing these wonderful creatures.

Thanks, they are one of my favourite creatures. On the Kona coast of Hawaii, you will sometimes see them feeding on the bottom coral while you are snorkelling. Wonderful! they look at you and if you keep your distance and be still, they continue their life and you get to share!
yeah great job :D
