Description:
Herb up to 70cm in height. The leaves are long with small teeth edges, flowers are greenish. The fruits are dry and contain 3 nut-like seeds.
Often, this plant is used for both asthma and to heal wounds . In Quintana Roo, leaves are used in infusion. In addition, is used against some skin diseases and other ailments. Even to prevent cancer.
Habitat:
A native of tropical America, found in warm climates, from sea level up to 738m. It lives in areas with disturbed vegetation derived from tropical deciduous forest, deciduous, and evergreen.
