Looks like a monarch caterpillar to me. There are monarch butterflies in Hawaii. There is even a white morph that is becoming more common there. http://www.explorebiodiversity.com/Hawaii/BiodiversityForgotten/Wildlife/Inverts/Insects/Monarchs.htm
I see on the link that it has occasionally been seen in Hawaii. I will have to look for it when I am there next. Is there any other caterpillar that looks exactly like this?
I wonder if the Monarch Butterfly has been introduced to Hawaii? So many things have!
