You're right, Clive - thank you for the link - I gotta re-check the entire Russula section... :) Hooray :)....(though I think I have a suspect already in mind)

Not that I knew of, Clive - I checked the list of Russulas and wasn't able to match it with...that's been the species I was pointing on after a suggest of yours on another similar one (other user). I don't think it's a Russula...the caps texture/structure is uncommon...but thanks for the suggest anyway.
