Field Notes

Description:

Green-headed mallard-ish duck with a white breast. Dark spots on the white. Found in a mixed group of ducks, including some dark brown ducks with similar white breasts (see third photo). Probably a cross between mallards and a Blue Swedish domestic duck.

Habitat:

Downtown park with a river flowing through.

Notes:

Another of my spottings (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7391229) focused on the dark ducks with the white breast.
