Squirrel eating from a compost bin.

Habitat:

This squirrel has made it home in a large central courtyard of a large uranium high school. The courtyard is also the location of a permaculture garden and contains ~80 species of edible perennial plants in addition to some annuals and two large compost bins.

Notes:

The squirrel appears to favor strawberries, zucchini, scraps from the compost, and the occasional spruce cone that had been brought in with garden mulch.
