Field Notes

Description:

Locally popular fruit tree, flowering with small fruits emerging. Superficially, the mature fruit resembles a cashew apple (without the cashew).

Habitat:

Village yard.

Notes:

There are three of these trees nearby. They seem particularly vulnerable to attack by galls see http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7111359.
