Thanks for the ID, KarenL! I believe it works for a couple of my other damselflies too.
Maybe he is saluting because he is the state insect of Nevada!
I knew what you meant, Ashish. :) But here PT could also stand for physical therapy... and either way it kind of works for the damselfly's pose.

Thanks! I especially liked this damselfly because it looked like it was saluting or wiping its brow. Not that it has a brow, exactly. :)
