It was a great time snorkelling! We were at a beach just south of Kona on the Big Island. It is busy but not as busy as Hanauma Bay and you can just park and go snorkelling. There are some volunteers working there to try to educate people to be careful of damaging the reef, which I really appreciated. Another good place to watch Green Sea Turtles is further north at A - Beach by Waikoloa Beach Resort. They pull out of the water there regularly and you can swim with them any day.:)
@william, i think there is a little confusion. in this case it is Bird Lady 6000 who had a grand time and not me!! this spotting belongs to bird lady, :)
It looks like you had a grand time Emma ~ nice pic too. Thank you for sharing.
Must have been a lot of fun. Both my girls did snorkeling at Hanoma Bay.
I love how the turtle just swims up to you and looks in your face and then swims off. You are nothing to get excited about!
