I spotted this in the forest behind the Mountain Paradise Lodge in eastern Ghana.

I think you're right Sarah, really looks like a species of Hypolycaena, not sure which. I do see some with shorter tails though. Wow, that is a long list! I don't have that much patience! Hahaha! I spotted another species of Fairy Hairstreak in Ghana. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6007097
